Northrop Grumman is seeking a Security Investigator to: investigate suspected incidents of illegal activity or cases of suspected fraud by employees, vendors, or third parties.
The successful candidate will have the ability to collect and analyze various data points, conduct professional fact-finding interviews, provide a fact-based report, and afford summary briefings to management. In addition, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of having developed liaison with other internal and external stakeholders.
This position can be filled at either a level 2 or level 3.
Basic Qualifications for level 2:
Bachelors and 2+ years of Security Investigative experience. An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelors degree.
Active Secret clearance.
Experience with internals investigations i.e. insider threat, counterintelligence, HR ethics.
Basic Qualifications for level 3:
Bachelors and 5+ years of Security Investigative experience or MS Degree and 3+ years of Security Investigative experience. An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelors degree.
Active Secret clearance.
Experience with internals investigations i.e. insider threat, counterintelligence, HR ethics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current active Top Secret clearance.
Formal investigative training.
Primary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $110,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
