Overview

Tecolote Research Inc. is seeking candidates for the role of Space Systems Command (SSC) Commercial Space Office (COMSO) Event Coordinator to plan, coordinate, manage, and execute external stakeholder engagements that encompass all SSC organizations, mission areas, SLDs, and GSUs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the US Space Force and Commercial Space Office to develop and coordinate programs and program events to meet mission objectives and improve overall performance within the Space Force mission portfolio. Tactical, decisive, and flexible to ensure the proper delivery of capabilities and services is met.
  • First-level triage coordinator for Front Door Team.
  • Perform business viability assessments, providing initial recommendations on next steps, customer service communication with industry, architecting, and continually improving Front Door intake processes.
  • Ensuring data integrity within the Front Door Industry Engagement Portal (IEP)/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. Manages Front Door engagement with the SpaceWERX team on MOUs and Letters of Support




Skills Required

  • Years of Experience: 5+ years of combined industry and federal government experience (such as DoD/NASA/NRO employee or SETA/FFRDC supporting federal government acquisition).
  • 5+ years of experience in event planning, project or program management, and logistics.
  • Experience in planning, directing, or coordinating the operations of public or private sector organizations.
  • Experience working closely with trade associations and/or professional organizations related to space, cyber, or aerospace.
  • Legislative, Venture Capital / Finance, think tank, FFRDC, or evaluating technical government requirements
  • Must effectively communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical and administrative accuracy in a professional manner.
  • Interest and ability to work in a dynamic, geographically separated work environment
  • Must be able to perform all duties independently.
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Active Secret security clearance required
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $130,000/year, DOE

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
