Tecolote Research is seeking an experienced Cost Analyst to join our National Capital Programs Group. The is full-time onsite position in the Washington Metro Area and requires a Top-Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility.
Responsibilities
- As a Cost Analyst, you will be:
- Supporting the U.S Navy across a portfolio of critical programs by developing cost estimates and models
- Performing cost analysis
- Analyzing vendor proposals to support contract negations and awards.
- You'll be required to analyze and integrate large datasets from a variety of sources to develop well documented and defendable cost estimates.
- The cost models you utilize and develop will support a variety of supplemental efforts, including What-If analysis, Business Case Analysis, and budget requests.
- The analysis and recommendations you present will enable senior leadership to make critical strategic decisions.
- The expected salary range is $65,000 - $145,000 and is dependent a variety of factors, including total years of relevant experience, academic achievement, and relevant professional certifications.
Skills Required
Must Have:
- Top-Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI eligibility
- Minimum of 3 years' experience performing cost estimating or financial/business case analysis
- Familiarity with industry standard Cost analysis tools (Microsoft Excel, ACEIT, etc.)
- B.S in Economics, Business, or a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) field
- Willingness to work full-time onsite in a classified environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience supporting DoD Program Offices
- Experience working in a classified environment
- Familiarity with FAR/DFAR and GAO/DoD Cost Estimating Guides
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- International Cost Estimating and Analysis (ICEAA) Certification
- Advanced Degree (MBA, etc..)
