Integration & Test Engineer

Location: Aurora, CO

Required: Secret Clearance

W2 hourly Contract to Hire Only

Pay: $40.00 to $83.00/hr. D.O.E. Based on the benefits chosen

Geologics is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer with an active Secret Clearance to join our SI&T team in Aurora, Colorado. In this role, you will put systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.

REQUIRED
  • Active Secret Clearance is required on day one.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2-5 years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience or 1-3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in (STEM)
  • Hands-on keyboard integration engineering experience on a government software development contract
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving software system execution problems
  • Experience with systems engineering principles and activities

SKILLS PREFERRED
  • Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
  • Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations)
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Experience utilizing discrepancy report systems
  • Test Automation experience (Cucumber or Gherkin)
  • Experience with EclipseTM or EquinoxTM
  • Experience with script development (Python, Perl, CECIL)
  • Experience with Java, C++, or Python
  • Experience with Linux operating system

What You Will Do
  • Plans and performs Integration assignments involving complex software and hardware subsystems and resolves identified conflicting issues.
  • Participates in a complex program which includes establishing methods and techniques, planning and writing integration procedures/sequences and reports, and conducting tests utilizing comprehensive knowledge of these complex subsystems.
  • Utilizes a broad knowledge of precedents in integration engineering and applies understanding of principles of related engineering and software technology to ensure test validity and integrity.
  • Conducts tests, which include collaborating with others in establishing language, database, and computer simulation requirements and configuration management techniques.
  • Develop and execute integration sequences
  • Identify technical issues during integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to determine root cause and drive toward closure
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis
  • Work in an Agile program environment
  • Work in a classified lab on site in Aurora, Colorado
