Piper Companies is hiring a Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer (CI Polygraph) for a large technology organization located in Raleigh, NC. The Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer (CI Polygraph) will support enterprise systems and network monitoring platforms, including the deployed Network Management System (NMS). The Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer (CI Polygraph) is a long term contracting opportunity and requires you to sit onsite 5 days per week in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities of the Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer (CI Polygraph):
- Administer and maintain enterprise Linux environments (preferably RHEL)
- Build and manage virtual servers and containers (Docker/Kubernetes a plus)
- Support networking infrastructure: switching, subnets, VLANs, and storage
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation and system management
- Implement NIST 800-53 security controls and maintain DOD 8570 compliance
- Collaborate on monitoring solutions; Splunk experience is a plus
- Provide support for virtualization, storage, and network operations
Requirements for the Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer (CI Polygraph):
- TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
- Security+ or equivalent DOD 8570 certification
- Strong foundation in Linux, networking, virtualization, and storage
- Experience with scripting and automation tools
Compensation for the Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer (CI Polygraph):
- $135,000 - $150,000
