Roles and Responsibilities
The Elastic Consultant candidate will possess a strong technical background with Elastic capabilities with proven problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is classified as casual employment due to the temporary nature of the support required for specific projects. The consultant will provide on-site assistance at customer locations, contributing to various initiatives on a short-term basis.
The Elastic Consultant will perform Elastic Software and Cloud service offerings including Enterprise Search, and/or security. These common task may include operational, implement and deployment services, installation and configuration, pipeline/ingestion recommendations and patterns, data modeling/mapping, visualization/dashboards, and emulation of threat techniques to trigger SIEM detections. Additionally, the consultant is responsible for direct and consistent communication with customer personnel.
Reporting are critical aspects of any temporary project. The Elastic Consultant will be responsible for delivering a weekly Engagement Weekly Activity Report, Final and Interim Consulting Engagement Report, and other assigned project deliverables.

Requirements
- 5 years of experience working with Elastic Software and Cloud service offering
- 8 years' experience with system administration
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively engage customer personnel
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- DoD TS Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Elastic certifications
- Experience working in a secure environment
- Prior experience in consulting roles
