Position Overview:
QSS is seeking a Systems Architect with strong expertise in enterprise IT security, endpoint
management, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) design. The ideal candidate will
have hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, Zero Trust security, endpoint hardening,
and automation, while collaborating with cybersecurity and VDI teams to improve overall
security posture. This role requires the ability to architect and maintain secure, efficient,
and compliant environments that directly support mission-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Architect, design, and maintain secure enterprise IT and VDI systems.
• Manage and secure firewall policies, VPN solutions, and network segmentation
strategies.
• Implement Zero Trust models across enterprise environments.
• Ensure endpoint and network systems meet performance and compliance
standards.
• Oversee lifecycle management of endpoint devices, including provisioning,
patching, and hardening via ManageEngine.
• Configure and optimize network infrastructure including Palo Alto PA-3430, Cisco
Firepower 2130s, and Nexus switches.
• Deploy and manage VPN solutions (OpenVPN/IPsec) for secure remote access.
• Administer Windows 11, Linux (CentOS/Ubuntu), and Android emulators
(BlueStacks).
• Enforce Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and Active Directory-integrated access
controls.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline policy enforcement and system
management.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to strengthen enterprise security posture.
• Provide training, documentation, and technical support.

Required Skills & Experience:
• Hands-on experience with firewall administration.
• Experience with Network Access Control and Access Controls.
• Proficiency in VPN tunneling.
• Experience with endpoint security and mobile emulation (BlueStacks).
• Demonstrated expertise in securing and managing endpoint devices.

Desired Skills:
• Experience collaborating with cybersecurity and VDI teams.
• Experience developing and maintaining network/endpoint security policies.
• Experience conducting regular security assessments.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust security models.
• Experience providing training and support.
