Key Responsibilities:
- AI Generalist will design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models using Python for mission-critical DoD use cases
- Provide subject matter expertise in data engineering, analytics, and decision-support applications
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into enterprise systems
- Conduct data exploration, preprocessing, feature engineering, and pipeline development for structured and unstructured data
- Advise leadership on emerging AI technologies, best practices, and implementation strategies for DoD missions
- Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate mission requirements into AI-enabled solutions
- As an AI Generalist, you will ensure solutions adhere to DoD cybersecurity standards, RMF, STIG compliance, and Zero Trust principles
- Provide technical documentation, briefings, and recommendations to senior DoD leadership
- Mentor junior staff in AI/ML practices, coding standards, and solution delivery methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
- Experience supporting Agile/SAFe environments and delivering in government IT programs
- Hands-on experience with Vantage, including dashboards, analytics, and API integrations
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior staff
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS GovCloud, Azure Government
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, model training, tuning, validation, and deployment
- Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, STIGs, Zero Trust) and secure software development practices
- Expertise in Python and common AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras, Hugging Face)
- Familiarity with DoD/enterprise IT environments and mission support systems
- Proficiency with data integration, ETL pipelines, SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud-based data platforms
- Technical writing skills for white papers, proposals, and capability statements

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
