MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Assurance Engineer to join our team in Norfolk, VA. This is an onsite position.
Join the Navy's Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) program and contribute to the evolution of warfighter readiness. We provide critical engineering and technical expertise for the U.S. Navy's premier Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) training capability. Our work involves seamlessly integrating live training with synthetic systems to create highly realistic and complex global training environments. We also drive the development of advanced representations for joint, theater, and national systems, and model new weapons technologies and emerging threats, ensuring our forces are prepared for any challenge.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop cybersecurity best practices, plans and procedures to support assessment & authorization (A&A) efforts for Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN) enclaves and systems
- Hardware and software configuration baseline updates for NETTN enclaves and systems as well as Navy Training Baseline (NTB) software configuration deliveries
- Work with RMF Package escalation process and procedures
- Work with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) plan of action and milestones (POA&Ms) for ongoing and closed findings
- Up to 25% travel required or as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years minimum relevant experience
- Extensive experience working with Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), Risk Management Framework (RMF), National Institute Standards and Technology (NIST), and other federal guidelines.
- Must have CompTia, Sec+, CISSP, or CASP and Computing Environment/Operating System (CE/OS) certifications (ex. Linux, Windows, Cisco)
- DoD Information Assurance Technician (IAT)-I level experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience utilizing assessment tools (e.g., ACAS, SCAP, HBSS) and RMF process tools (e.g., MCCAST, eMASS, eArcher, VRAM and DITPR-DON/DADMS) preferred
- CISSP certifications
Clearance Requirements:
- US Citizenship required and an Active Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
