Come be a part of our team as a Maintenance Trainer in the Lockheed Martin (LM) Fleet Ballistic Missiles (FBM) Training Center of Excellence (TCOE).
In this role will offer you the following daily responsibilities & duties:
• Administer Qualification, Certification and Licensing programs at the FBM Strategic Weapons Facilities (SWF) and conduct Qualification and Certification training.
• Deliver formal classroom and hands-on instruction to all levels of the LM and customer workforce in the area of Trident II D5 missile operations and deliver training in other areas as directed by TCOE management.
• Develop and revise curriculum in support of program requirements in the form of instructor led and web based training.
• Partner closely with the processing organizations to ensure all training requirements are properly maintained and tracked via Learning Management Systems such as the Qualification/Certification Checklist Training (QCT) system.
• Cross train to instruct at multiple locations and in multiple subjects as required.
• Work independently with students, LM management, and customer organizations at all FBM locations in the US and in the UK to support the training needs of the facility.
• Carry out all duties within local, state, and federal laws and within program safety and security requirements.
Please note that this position does NOT support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Silverdale, WA, and will be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years solder and conformal coating inspection experience.
• Strong understanding and prior working knowledge of both solder and conformal coating applications and acceptance IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
• Detail-oriented, ability to work independently and support multiple programs, must be quality minded and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.
• Proficient using Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Skills:
• IPC-A-610 Certified Specialist
• IPC-J-STD-001 Certified Specialist
• Master Training Specialist certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of instructional course design.
• Proven knowledge of explosive safety and handling.
• Demonstrate Web Based Training development experience.
• Learning management system experience, preferably QCT.
• Demonstrated interpersonal relationship and customer service skills.
• Display strong communication skills.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
