Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) performing a variety of fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties, clearing unmatched disbursements, processing cash collections or invoice payment pre-validations to complete daily tasks or projects; 2) reviewing, analyzing or reconciling financial transactions to General Ledger accounts; 3) performing Mission and Reimbursable Fund Allotment execution support for Department of Defense design and construction projects; and 4) interpreting and developing financial management policies, procedures, and training materials to conduct on-the-job training to facilitate implementation of new or modified accounting procedures.

This is a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 1 Certified position designated as such in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 United States Code, section 1599d. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Navy Requirements of this certification program. This certification is a condition of employment for this position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related

- You will analyze the quality of information used to achieve audit readiness and financial management.
- You will monitor operations within financial management systems to ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts.
- You will assess the impact of new or revised regulations on financial policies and procedures.
