Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Coordinate activities with various military and civilian agencies to evaluate the impact of agreements with the Hellenic Military;
2) Identify and resolve problems concerning complex local, national and international issues;
3) Monitor and brief management on existing and developing attitudes, positions, and policies of the Greek Government;
4) Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to gain cooperation and maintain positive interpersonal relationships; and
5) Provide administration support (e.g. preparation of documents, maintenance of records/files, coordination/scheduling of meetings, tracking suspense items).

Priority consideration will be given to military spouse preference and family member preference eligible residing in the commute area of the duty location for this position. Commute area is defined as the geographic area surrounding the duty location in which people can reasonably be expected to travel back and forth daily.

- You will provide the Commanding Officer with timely synopses of (and recommended solutions to) political trends in Greece incorporating the economic, environmental, cultural and social situation which may affect the U.S. Navy.
- You will organize and attend internal and external meeting with senior military and civic leaders and decide issues in accordance with the Commanding Officer's policies and direction.
- You will administratively support Inter-service Support Agreements with units from other Departments within the DoD.
- You will organize special events, ceremonies, official and unofficial visits by dignitaries and distinguished individuals, including the preparation of materials, briefings, conferences and tours.
- You will persuade others to take a particular course of action, accept findings, or recommendations to resolve conflicts.
- You will advise others on the technical aspects of office administration, communications, or reporting requirements.
