As required by our governmental client, this position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance to qualify.

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen.

The Site Security Specialist will provide on-site support to Andersen AFB's Visitor Control Center (VCC) and Security Forces. This role supports the 36th CES PMO reconstruction-related activities by assisting with security operations, access control, credentialing, and data validation. The Specialist will work closely with government personnel and military units to ensure compliance with base security protocols.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Site Security Specialist: Pay commensurate with experience.

Site Security Specialist Responsibilities Include:
  • Support Security Forces in validating base entry for visitors and contractors.
  • File and maintain Visitor and Event Entry Authorization Lists (EALs).
  • Assist in issuing and inventorying Restricted Area Badges (RABs), including preparing paperwork, maintaining documentation, and conducting periodic badge inventories.
  • Support Restricted Area Circulation Control by verifying badge data and maintaining RAB documentation.
  • Maintain and update the Base Barmet Roster as directed by Government authorities.
  • Assist in inspecting and verifying the authenticity of entry credentials.
  • Perform background checks via National Criminal Investigation Console (NCIC) terminals.
  • Conduct background checks at the Guam Commercial Vehicle Gate and VCC, as needed.
  • Provide security system program management and engineering support, including reviewing security design deliverables, participating in design review meetings, providing quality assurance during construction/installation, and supporting system acceptance testing for Intrusion Detection System (IDS) units.
  • Coordinate with the Special Security Office (SSO), as required.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Site Security Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in physical security, access control, law enforcement, or DoD installation support.
  • Working knowledge of Air Force security protocols and access control procedures.
  • Familiarity with EALs, RAB issuance/accountability, and base-level roster management.
  • Experience with NCIC or similar background check systems (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to support mission-critical functions, including weekends and holidays when required.
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality in all duties.
