As a DESK OFFICER (JOINT NATIONAL TRAINING CAPABILITY) at the GS-0301-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Serve as desk officer for assigned Service and principal advocate on JS J7, DD JT.
- Serve as Staff Coordinator for operational issues that cross-organizational lines and involve external entities.
- Work close coordination with other divisions, event planners and command representatives and liaisons.
- Provide recommendations at appropriate level recognizing the need to adapt current processes.
- Share information through weekly updates and summaries.

- Expert knowledge of training capabilities, latest technology concepts and tactical systems.
- Experience to isolate, identify and recommend solutions to complicated issues affected by fiscal and legislative constraints.
