Job Description
The Counterintelligence Support Specialist shall assist in conducting, managing, coordinating, controlling, integrating, and providing oversight of CI activities to support the Defense Critical Infrastructure P rogram in accordance with DoDI 5240.19 and other DoD policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include :
Conduct a full range of authorized CI activities to obtain and analyze intelligence information regarding FIE threats to DISA and the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN).
Assist with completing or coordinating the completion of Counterintelligence Coverage Plans (CICP) with the appropriate supporting CI organization in accordance with DoDI 5240.19 and other applicable policies and procedures.
Coordinate with DISA's CI Agents to request investigative and/or operational support when required .
Coordinate and annually update threat assessments for Defense Critical Infrastructure (DCI) and Defense Industrial Base (DIB) sector for DISA's critical assets and promptly report threat information to DISA CI government personnel.
Develop threat and vulnerability assessments to support the counterintelligence program.
Analyze all-source data to derive facts, inferences, and projections concerning capabilities, intention, attack approaches, and likelihood of various adversarial threat activities.
Assist with receiving, processing, conducting and analyzing foreign travel, foreign contact reports and foreign visitor briefings and debriefings to identify counterintelligence concerns.
Maintain counterintelligence databases used to report foreign travel, foreign contacts and foreign visitor activities.
Responsible for drafting CI/ InT referrals when pertinent information is obtained during routine duties or during travel, visit, and contact briefings and/or debriefings.
Travel away from primary work location may be required under this requirement.
Required Skills
Must have an active TS/SCI.
Must have 5-8 years commensurate experience as a CI professional writing all-source intelligence analytical products .
Must possess 3-5 years of experience with the protection of Defense Critical Infrastructure.
Must have completed a DoD or equivalent military or Intelligence Community intelligence analyst course.
Desired Skills
Prior completion of a baseline Counterintelligence Fundamentals Course.
Knowledge of information and telecommunication systems and capabilities.
