Job Description
The Counterintelligence Support Specialist shall assist in reviewing and conducting written analysis of reported Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States transactions, per the guidance and instructions of the Government. They s hall also conduct mapping activities of reported transactions .
Responsibilities include :
Coordinat ing and complet ing formal and inform al reports and briefings on the behavior of adversaries against targets and target systems, technologies, operations and missions.
Develop threat and vulnerability assessments to support the counterintelligence program. All assessments must include threat, risk and mitigation data .
While creating these assessments counterintelligence analyst shall analyze all - source data to derive facts, inferences, and projections concerning capabilities, intention, attack approaches, and likelihood of various adversarial threat activities .
A nalyzing reported acquisitions and transactions, and identify trends or concerns related to DISA's mission, personnel, resources or equities .
Assist with receiving, processing, conducting and analyzing foreign travel, foreign contact reports and foreign visitor briefings and debriefings to identify counterintelligence concerns .
Maintain counterintelligence databases used to report foreign travel, foreign contacts and foreign visitor activities.
Responsible for drafting CI/ InT referrals when pertinent information is obtained during routine duties, or during travel, visit, and contact briefings and/or debriefings
Required Skills
Must have an active TS/SCI .
Must have 5-8 years commensurate experience as a CI professional writing all-source intelligence analytical products .
Must have completed a DoD or equivalent military or Intelligence Community intelligence analyst course .
Must possess knowledge of the protection of Defense Critical Infrastructure .
Must have strong knowledge of geographic coordinate systems and excellent writing skills .
Desired Skills
Prior completion of a baseline Counterintelligence Fundamentals Course .
Experience in the use of ARC Map/GIS
Knowledge of information and telecommunication systems and capabilities .
