We're seeking a seasoned Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco LAN/WAN/WLAN technologies to support infrastructure and operations across a large-scale enterprise environment. This role is hands-on and customer-facing, with responsibility for maintaining, optimizing, and securing network systems serving over 1,500 employees.
Key Responsibilities

We're seeking a seasoned Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco LAN/WAN/WLAN technologies to support infrastructure and operations across a large-scale enterprise environment. This role is hands-on and customer-facing, with responsibility for maintaining, optimizing, and securing network systems serving over 1,500 employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as point of contact for end-user support (wired/wireless networks, telecom, servers, workstations)
- Provide expert support for Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless devices
- Monitor and report on newly installed systems using centralized dashboards
- Maintain day-to-day operations and ensure seamless integration into existing environments
- Recommend upgrades and improvements as technologies evolve
- Train IT staff to independently manage and support network systems
- Provide Tier 0-4 support and escalation assistance to PIMC IT staff
- Design, configure, test, and maintain Cisco network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot routing protocols, VPNs, WAN optimization, and vendor connectivity
- Ensure network security and compliance using Cisco ASA, Firepower, and ISE
- Accurately diagram and document network changes
- Certification: Valid CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline
- Experience:
- 8+ years hands-on Cisco networking experience
- 4+ years as a Cisco Network Engineer
- Recent experience supporting Indian Health Service environments
Position Details:
- Pay Rate / Range $50-70/hr
