Full Stack Developer - Secret/Hybrid

Your Mission

The MASY Group is a growing Nunn Perry award-winning government service company providing intelligence analysis, educational, and operational support to key federal agencies such as the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. We are seeking a developer in support of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.

Your Qualifications

• (4+ for mid, 6+ for senior) years of professional Java development experience with a strong focus on building enterprise applications
• Proven expertise in Spring Boot framework, including Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security for developing RESTful APIs and implementing complex business logic
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and clean code practices
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker
• Proficiency with build tools such as Maven or Gradle, and version control systems like Git
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and implement robust, scalable backend services

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems design
• Experience with orchestration with Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, particularly using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of API design best practices, including OpenAPI/Swagger documentation
• Experience with AWS services like EKS and ECS
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for event-driven architectures
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and integration testing
• Knowledge of security best practices for API development and authentication/authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT)
