Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Commercial Space Technology Demonstration Coordinator to join our team. This position is located at Amazon Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, and plays a critical role in supporting technology demonstration and testing initiatives in partnership with Amazon Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS).
The Demonstration Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing technology demonstrations, ensuring seamless collaboration among stakeholders. Key duties include managing logistics, coordinating schedules and resources, and facilitating clear, timely communication throughout the demonstration life-cycle.
This role requires exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and technically complex environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can balance multiple priorities while driving successful outcomes.
Commercial Space Technology Demonstration Coordinator Skills/Experience:
* Current TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain (desired)
* 5+ years of experience as a Test and Demonstration Coordinator
* 5+ years of test/demonstration experience, with preference for space communication, terminals, and conducting field demonstrations
* 5+ years of experience working with the U.S. Department of Defense or Intelligence Community organizations
* Proficiency with Smart sheet applications
* Manage demonstration requests through Smart sheet and Sales force intake tools
* Oversee intake, planning, and status tracking of Kuiper network Customer Terminal (CT) demonstrations
* Develop and maintain tools to track CT equipment, demonstration requirements, and KGS requests (domestic/international demos, pilots, Executive Briefing Center, and event support)
* Ensure accurate data entry, scheduling integrity, and real-time status updates
* Create and implement reporting products to provide relevant, timely information for KGS leadership
* Deliver team briefings, weekly status reports, and execution plans for demos, pilots, customer engagements, and resource requests
* Develop and maintain KGS international/domestic business development team wikis with product documents, specifications, milestones, and status updates
* Establish prerequisites and approval processes for go/no-go demonstration decisions
* Update Smartsheet applications with approval status for each demonstration
* Facilitate on-site demonstrations of Kuiper Terminals with associated baseband equipment
* Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations as directed by the customer
* Demonstrate familiarity with military capabilities, equipment, and technologies
* Serve as the single-threaded owner for KGS product demos, pilots, previews, including scheduling, resourcing, and execution
* Collaborate with Product Management, Program Management, Engineering, Marketing, and other teams to ensure seamless execution
* Build and maintain strong working relationships across Amazon KGS, Amazon Kuiper Commercial, and global field service organizations
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work effectively as a member of dynamic, cross-functional teams
* Willingness and ability to work on-site at Amazon facilities
Commercial Space Technology Demonstration Coordinator Education/Certifications:
* High School Diploma, required
* Bachelor's degree in a Technical Field, desired
