Position: Senior QA Tester
Location: Washington, DC (Remote)
Duration: 12+ months contract

Job Description:
List of Tasks to be Performed:
• Leading the QA team in designing QA test procedures.
• Overseeing the drafting of testing documents.
• Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
• Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
• Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
• Reviewing Quality Assurance reports.
• Reviewing and analyzing system specifications.
• Collaborating with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
• Executing test cases (manual or automated) and analyzing results.
• Evaluating product code according to specifications.
• Creating logs to document testing phases and defects.
• Reporting bugs and errors to development teams.
• Helping troubleshoot issues.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Required Experience Level:
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience, in technology or software development preferred.
• Proficient in manual and automated testing methodologies and techniques
• Experience in creating test cases, test plans, and test scripts
• Knowledge of QA processes and best practices
• Proficiency with automated testing tools and frameworks to perform automated testing to enhance test coverage and efficiency
• Experience in using AI-assisted tools for test case creation or execution (a plus)
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills for effective problem-solving
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration with the team
• Attention to detail and ability to identify and report bugs effectively
