We are currently seeking a Facilities Specialist to support our Crane, IN offices. The Facilities Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of daily facilities operations across Precise Systems' business areas. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace environment. The Facilities Specialist will manage maintenance needs, vendor coordination, and employee support while also assisting with workplace safety programs, inspections, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $39,624.00 to $59,446.40 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.

Key Responsibilities
Facilities Operations & Maintenance
- Support day-to-day facility operations including office/building maintenance, space management, furniture moves, shipping/receiving, and access control.
- Serve as a liaison with landlords, property managers, and service vendors for preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor service tickets and ensure timely resolution of facility-related issues.
Workplace Safety & Compliance
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining company-level workplace safety programs, including OSHA, DoD, and client-specific requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities (evacuation drills, fire safety checks, and business continuity support).
- Maintain records of inspections, incident reports, and corrective actions.
Project & Space Management
- Assist in planning and executing facility-related projects such as office moves, space build-outs, and workplace reconfigurations.
- Maintain inventory of facility equipment, supplies, and furniture.
- Provide support for conference room readiness, employee events, and hosted customer engagements.
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
- Promote a culture of workplace safety and employee well-being through training and awareness initiatives.
- Partner with HR and Operations on ergonomic assessments and wellness initiatives.
- Support sustainability initiatives related to energy use, recycling, and environmental compliance.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain is preferred.
- First Aid/CPR certification a plus.
Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in facilities management, corporate services, or occupational safety.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations in a government contracting environment preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, building codes, and environmental/safety regulations.
- Experience coordinating with property managers, landlords, and vendors.
Skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with employees, contractors, and leadership.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software/tools.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and perform physical aspects of facility support as needed.
