G37 Joint Exercise Military Operations Analyst - Sr. & Task Lead

Location: Fort Carson, CO

Description:

Seeking a Joint Exercise Sr. Military Operations Analyst and Task Lead to join the team supporting the USASMDC G37 at Peterson SFB.

**This position is contingent upon contract award.**

Responsibilities:
  • Coordination as required, with representatives from each of SMDC staff elements to provide Exercise Planning, Development and Execution of various tasks in support of the G37 mission.
  • Collaboration with multiple internal and external organizations and Combatant and Global Commands in the support and development/execution of assigned exercises (Tier 1/2/Warfighter (WFX) and Table Top Exercises (TTX)).
  • Coordination as required with staff elements of USSTRATCOM, USSPACECOM and USNORTHCOM to support the Tier-1 level exercise planning and execution.
  • Provide support to the G37 Training and Exercise (TREX) Branch Chief and the DA Civilians who work there with input for required meetings, research, papers, Joint Lessons Learned and administration of the G37 Exercise Branch.
  • Provide support to G37 Exercise Branch in administration, planning, and execution of all exercises Tier 1 and below.
  • Collection of metrics and lessons learned as directed by the G37 Exercise Branch Chief.
  • Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of exercises supporting SMDC, USSTRATCOM and USSPACECOM as well as the Geographic Combatant Commanders (GCCs) in their regional exercises.
  • Provide Space Expertise and guidance to the Exercise Branch and provide recommendations on how to increase effectiveness and efficiency in space operations and training within that branch.
  • Develop and submit Exercise reports and summaries to ensure G37 and staff remain current with relevant exercise planning and execution data and are prepared to optimize USASMDC exercise support resources.
  • Support the team's task lead ensuring the team's overall success.


Required Experience and Education:
  • Senior requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree + 6 years' experience supporting exercise injects, TPO/TPE capture, O/C-T observations, hot-washes and FAAR facilitation.
  • Task Lead requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree + 12 years' experience leading CCMD-level exercise planning/execution; expert in JELC process; inject development; O/C-T facilitation; lessons-learned capture in JLLIS.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have a TS/SCI Clearance
