Position Summary:
MEC Energy Services is seeking an experienced Recruiter to support hiring efforts for U.S. government contracts. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for positions that require technical trade skills and security clearances. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building abilities, as well as a working familiarity with building and maintenance trades to effectively assess candidate qualifications.
The successful candidate will hold an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance, demonstrate excellent judgment, and thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments. This position is located in Warner Robins, Ga. No relocation costs are authorized.

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with program managers and hiring teams to identify staffing needs across multiple CLINs and labor categories.
• Source, screen, and evaluate candidates for positions requiring building, maintenance, and technical trade skills (e.g., HVAC, electricians, mechanics, custodial support).
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: job postings, applicant outreach, resume review, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer facilitation.
• Engage proactively with candidate pipelines, including pre-pipeline efforts for positions requiring DS and MED clearances, to minimize fill times.
• Maintain accurate records and candidate tracking in an applicant tracking system and/or recruitment databases.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, government regulations, and internal hiring policies.
• Represent the organization in a professional manner when engaging candidates and stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver regular recruitment reports to program leadership.
• Accountable for maintaining the project financial files for all federal projects including
actuals and forecast.
• Ensures linkages to financial and resource data sources are up-to-date and accurate.
• Consults key managers and executives from across the division to support better
forecasting of data and resolve conflicts.
• Develops improvements and enhancements to further advance this data.
• Drives the monthly resource allocation process by working with project managers to
consolidate the division's resource needs into a resource plan based on the best available
assumptions.
• Advises on utilization, hiring, and other resource management metrics to support
executive decisions on staffing.
• Supports communication to teams regarding variances from agreed upon plans.
• Prepares the monthly reporting packages for senior management, project managers and
others.
• Ensure required supporting documentation and/or communication to trigger the Client
Invoicing process is accurately updated and submitted timely.
• Ensure resource time is logged accurately in the time reporting system and is
reviewed/approved for accuracy.
• Identify and implement projects to streamline and consolidate accounting functions and
business processes within the division.

Qualifications
• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.
• Prior experience in recruiting for government contracts or within the federal contracting sector strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with building and maintenance trades sufficient to ask informed questions and evaluate qualifications.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• EXCEL and Word proficiency required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple concurrent requisitions.
