Space Operations Specialist

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

Space Operations Specialist
Key Role:
Provide support to a Space Operations Program and Joint forums. Draft plans, instructions, assessments, and requirements related to space operations. Provide analysis on Space Order of Battle, operational readiness, and mission impacts.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience performing management analysis in areas such as business process reengineering, configuration management, quality control or assurance, organizational performance assessments, mission analysis, or strategic planning
- 7+ years of experience with DoD Space Operations, mission areas, and functions
- Experience as a cyberspace operations officer or space operations officer
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with supporting Navy and Joint space strategic, operational, and tactical environments
- Experience with leading and organizing working groups
- Knowledge of both Fleet and National Space architectures and network designs
- Knowledge of Space, Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO), Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO), information operations (IO), electronic warfare, or electromagnetic spectrum operations
- Knowledge of Over-the-Horizon-Targeting (OTHT) in support of Space operations
- Ability to develop associated strategies and implementation planning for future Navy and Joint space systems
- Ability to develop written artifacts supporting Space Operations
- Ability to think creatively and communicate thoughts both in terms of structured narrative and visual graphics
- Ability to execute advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint functions
