FMS Initiatives Expert
Key Role:
Collaborate with thought leaders on time-sensitive initiatives in Foreign Military Sales ( FMS ) and Security Cooperation. Research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and support the Army in executing critical U.S. Security Cooperation objectives. Review and facilitate timely resolution of key FMS cases within respective country portfolio for criticality, accuracy, appropriateness of sale, technology security and disclosure, and long-term supportability. Coordinate with the clients, the Joint Staff, Geographic Combatant Commands, Army Service Components and organizations, and the Interagency, as required, on all aspects of FMS programs and pseudo-FMS cases within assigned portfolio of countries. Manage timeline and execution of key client initiatives and represent program at highest leadership levels of Service headquarters. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members, as needed.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with FMS case management support
- Experience tracking FMS cases through the full development and execution lifecycle
- Knowledge of the Security Assistance Management Manual ( SAMM )
- Knowledge of the Defense Security Assistance Management System ( DSAMS ) , Management Information System - International Logistics ( MISIL ) , Security Cooperation Information Portal ( SCIP ) , and Information Warehouse ( IW )
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in Security Cooperation ( SC ) or Security Assistance ( SA ) , or 10+ years of experience in Security Cooperation ( SC ) or Security
Assistance ( SA ) in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience at the component or headquarters level of a military Service organization
- Knowledge of defense acquisition systems
- TS / SCI clearance
- Master's degree
- Completion of Defense Institute for Security Cooperation Studies ( DISCS ) or Defense Security Cooperation University ( DSCU ) training
