Logistics Engineer, Lead
Key Role:
Address all aspects of sustainment to maintain the operational capability and effectiveness of the mission throughout its life cycle. Use operational knowledge of organization, purchasing policy , and programs to help coordinate operational sustainment. Support work prioritization and loading, operational resource needs, and advocate for capability development foresight. Maintain responsibility for development of technical staff, equipment selection and acquisition, asset sharing, quality control and quality assurance, and enforcement of standardization and processes. Maintain risk and process-oversight responsibility for a group of engineering capability labs in the U.S. to ensure consistent quality, safety, staffing, re-use, material and inventory control, cost management, interoperability, and performance.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Logistics Engineer, Lead
Key Role:

Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with logistics operations
- Experience with warehouse and material management operations, including safety programs and handling of hazardous materials
- Experience with inventory control sof tware, including PBUSE, MAXIMO, and GFEBS
- Knowledge of ISO-9001 material handling and operational standards
- Knowledge of supply chain management operations, including sourcing, obsolescence planning, and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Supply ( DMSMS )
- Knowledge of DOT regulations for shipping and receiving
- Knowledge of regulations governing management of Government Property, including both Government Furnished Equipment ( GFE ) and Contractor Acquired Property ( CAP )
- Ability to provide support and coordination of facility operations supporting R & D and system development
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience developing and executing business strategies to achieve successful, quality growth
- Knowledge of AS-9100 material handling and operational standards
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management
