Modeling and Simulation Engineer

As a Modeling and Simulation Engineer, you will design and implement advanced computational models to evaluate system performance and support strategic decision-making. You'll play a pivotal role in advancing the mission of the US Air Force by identifying system features and tactical approaches that enhance survivability and operational effectiveness within simulated environments. Your analytical work will support the acquisition community in making smarter, data-driven investment choices for next-generation electronic warfare technologies. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- Experience with modeling tools and languages such as MATLAB, Simulink, Python, or C++ for developing and analyzing simulations
- Experience with performing analytical assessments of complex systems
- Experience with leveraging AFSIM to perform operational analysis or modeling and simulation for the DoD
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
Nice If You Have:
- 3+ years of experience with using AFSIM for mission modeling
- Experience in multi-domain defense simulations, including air, space, missile defense, or cyber
- Knowledge of complex system interactions related to multi-domain defense simulations
- Knowledge of UNIX or Linux environments for model execution and data analysis
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master's degree
