Nightwing is seeking a highly motivated Finance Analyst to join the High Consequence Missions (HCM) Finance Team in Dulles, VA.
Selected candidate will be required to: prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and perform analysis in order to ensure that Contracts are within negotiated and/or agreed upon cost parameters as well as Government Cost Control Guidelines; participate in the preparation of budgets and schedules for various small programs and perform variance analysis to those budgets and schedules; prepare quarterly EAC's (Estimates at Completion) with variance analysis and support presentation of EAC's to organization; prepare monthly invoices and backup documentation for customer deliverables and various other ad hoc tasks. Further, the selected candidate will work in frequent collaboration with other functions as well as the customer.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Creation and submittal of Customer financial deliverables
• Development of time-phased budgets, forecasting and analysis of bookings, sales, profit, and cash
• Development of quarterly estimates at complete (EACs)
• Overseeing of contract funding and value
• Support program billings
• Perform ad-hoc analysis
Security Clearance & Other Requirements:
• Must be willing to obtain a top secret level clearance
Required Skills:
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Results and detail oriented
• Demonstrated ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative and use critical and strategic thinking
• Sound critical thinking, problem identification, and problem solving skills
• Experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficient in the use of other Microsoft Office Products (Word, Project)
Desired Skills:
• Familiar with government contracting

• BA/BS in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field of study
