Deputy Program Manager

BigBear.ai is seeking a Project Manager to join our delivery team, based out of McLean, VA and have an important role in supporting our mission of ensuring excellent delivery across multiple AI/ML technical products.

This position will work remotely but requires onsite meeting attendance in the northern VA and Washington, D.C. region. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance however preference and greater consideration will be given to candidates who hold a Top-Secret Clearance.

What you will do

• Coordinating Delivery Projects for multiple technologies and customers
• Developing/maintaining project plans - JIRA, Microsoft Project
• Requirements collections and establishment (Define Requirements)
• Project construction meetings
• Project SOW, ROM redlines review
• Requirement Owner / stakeholder engagement
• Coordination with other delivery projects, and sectors (Growth, Technology)
• Jira project tasks (spread across multiple projects)
• Confluence page creation and updates
• General project management
• OV-1 and deliverable documents creation / editing

What you need to have

• BA/BS degree and 10-12 years of related Analytics and Program Management experience
• 2+ years of recent experience working in project management
• 2+ years of recent experience working in a DoD enterprise environment
• Experience working with customers and building strong relationships
• Able to work independently and demonstrate strong initiative, complex problem-solving skills, and an ability to organize assigned daily tasks and the tasks of subordinates with no supervision
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) as well as the ability to interact with team members, external vendors, various levels of management and internal clients with assorted levels of computer experience
• Effective in developing and capturing metrics that reflect performance
• A fast learner with an ability to quickly understand different technologies
• The ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance is required; preference and higher consideration will be applied to candidates who already possess an active TS Clearance
• Excellent customer service skills
