Software Engineer 
Location: Aurora, CO.

Job Description:

In this role you will work onsite with a team of skilled Software Engineers developing Satellite Ground Stations Software in Java and C++ and working the development pipeline. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java and C++ based backend applications for satellite ground systems in both Windows and Linux in the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Use up-to-date tools CI/CD pipelines, Artifactory. Gradle, Maven.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement robust server-side solutions.
• Modify and improve existing codebases for enhanced performance and scalability.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
• Participate in integration and project milestone completion under guidance from supervisors.

• Workings of Satellite Ground Stations.
• New tools that will keep you state-of-the-art. 

Required Skills:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of four years of prior engineering experience.
• Experience developing software using Java and C++.
• Experience configuring builds using Gradle/Maven.
• Experience creating CI/CD jobs and configuring pipelines.
• Experience using Git.
• Experience using Artifactory.
• Experience in the Command and Control Domain. 

Desired Skills:

• Experience using Git.
•  Atlassian administration, specifically for Jira and Bitbucket.
• Understanding of Conan package management.
• Experience scripting with Groovy.
