Northrop Grumman Insights & Intelligence (i2) is hiring a Senior Analytics Manager to lead Enterprise Data Delivery within the Insights & Intelligence (i2) organization. This manager will report to the AI Platforms and i2 Operations Director. This role is based in Falls Church, VA and hybrid and/or remote options will be considered for the right candidate.

Insights & Intelligence (i2) is reimagining decision making at Northrop Grumman. As part of our Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO), i2 works with all enterprise domains and businesses to drive our data, analytics & AI transformation.

As the Enterprise Data Delivery Manager, you will lead a team of analysts and data engineers responsible for designing , developing and maintaining data pipelines, reporting and analytics products sourced from our ERP system primarily SAP S/4 HANA environment into multiple end points including other system as part of our i2 Data Ecosystem. You will set a vision, establish clear expectations and priorities, and empower execution by a team that is stabilizing after a significant amount of organizational change. Through successful stakeholder and change management you will drive changes to processes to optimize delivery of standardized, high-quality data solutions and insights.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Partner closely with the 1ERP team to disposition and deliver on data requirements in alignment to the 1ERP in-platform reporting, analytics, and AI strategy
  • Partner with the i2 Data Governance and Strategy organization to establish an enterprise data consumption strategy that incentivizes standardization through a well-defined chargeback model
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders to identify data requirements and translate business needs into efficient data solutions that align to the enterprise data strategy
  • Optimize BI HANA processes and operations to ensure data quality and availability, maintain system performance and scale, and minimize duplicative work
  • Support 1ERP convergence efforts by partnering with functional SMEs to understand business requirements, and defin e the best solution


Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelors Degree with 12 years of relevant experience OR a Masters Degree with 10 years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience enacting creative solutions to meet complex business reporting and analytics needs
  • Prior experience in an enterprise data delivery/reporting, data engineering, or analytics role
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels including the executive level
  • Prior experience managing ServiceNow requests and stakeholder escalations to ensure that business impact drives priority and that the appropriate data solution is delivered quickly
  • Prior experience understanding and working within complex system/user security models to enable appropriate data access


Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a people leadership role
  • Intimate knowledge of 1ERP and BI HANA data delivery capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience driving change management to shift organizational culture in alignment to an enterprise strategy
  • Prior experience leading an enterprise data delivery/reporting team through (or stabilizing after) an IT system implementation or migration effort


Primary Level Salary Range: $154,600.00 - $255,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
