The Mission -
NSWCCD’s Operations Department (Code 10)—especially Property Management (Code 107) and the Corporate Business Office (Code 106)—relies on precise logistics, material accountability, and audit-ready records to keep the fleet mission-ready. Join STi as a Supply Specialist (ANM1) to maintain Navy ERP data integrity, manage SOM/OM&S and PP&E accountability, and drive high-quality inventory outcomes.
What You’ll Do -
• Navy ERP & Navy Logistics: Use N-ERP to manage materials and records; steward clean data, statuses, transfers, receipts, and corrections across Sponsor Owned Material (SOM) and Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S).
• Material Accountability: Ensure accurate records, locations, labels, and ownership for PP&E and OM&S; research and resolve discrepancies.
• Inventory Leadership: Lead/perform physical inventories (F2B/B2F) of PP&E or OM&S; execute causative research; prepare documentation and adjustments in coordination with Code 107 branches.
• Program-Level Oversight: Provide project/program-level management of contractor/subordinate teams supporting logistics operations, accountability, and cycle counts.
• Compliance & Readiness: Align practices with DoD FMR Vol. 4 Ch. 4, DoN FFMIA Statement of Assurance, and SECNAVINST 4440.33; contribute to FIAR-ready processes and internal controls.
• Metrics & Reporting: Maintain trackers, KPIs, and share concise, decision-ready reports; contribute to SOPs, quick guides, and SharePoint content.
Required Qualifications -
• Clearance: Active SECRET with favorably adjudicated PSI at T3.
• Experience: 3+ years with the U.S. Navy and Navy ERP (N-ERP) solutions, including managing Navy logistics (SOM or OM&S).
• Accountability & Inventories: Experience leading material accountability and conducting physical inventories of PP&E or OM&S.
• Education: Bachelor’s in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
o In lieu of degree: +5 additional years prior military/DoD/related business experience in PP&E/Asset Management.
Preferred -
• Working knowledge of DoD FMR Vol. 4, Ch. 4, DoN FFMIA Statement of Assurance, SECNAVINST 4440.33.
• Strong Excel/SharePoint/reporting skills; knack for process improvement and clean documentation.
Work Environment -
• Hybrid telework with on-site support at NSWCCD (West Bethesda, MD).
• Occasional travel to NSWCCD detachments as mission requires.
