Amentum is seeking a Facility Security Assistant to perform administrative and clerical tasks associated with the information and Industrial Security Program.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret security clearance is required. Applicants selected must be a US Citizen in order to apply for a Secret Security Clearance. Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.
Compensation
The annual starting hourly rate for this position is $28.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
- Assists the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in implementing the PMRF Information and Industrial Security Program.
- Coordinate the personnel security requirements for security clearances for new hires (initial), renewals (periodic re-investigations), Special Access Program (SAP) or special projects and terminations.
- Assists employees in their preparation of the Electronic Questionnaire for Investigations Processing (eQIP) for submittal to Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
- Compiles, submits, and tracks final eQIP electronic files to DISS along with fingerprints and general release signature sheets.
- Submit fingerprints for individuals as required for command.
- Submit, track, and maintain or update Personnel Clearance List (PCL) entries within DISS includes SAP or special projects.
- As primary account custodian, prepare and maintain classified material transmittal and destruction forms and Document Control Center (DCC) inventory accountability log/record.
- Maintain courier cards and as required, coordinate and submit courier letters to appropriate agencies (Hawaiian Airlines, TSA, etc.).
- Prepare, submit and/or coordinates Visitor Authorization request (VAR) and renew annual VARs.
- Prepare/submit CDRLS as required.
- Maintains the Personnel Security Clearance (PCL) database listing in Excel.
- Administer foreign travel (paperwork/briefings), degausser (certifications) and PMRF (Security Registration/Picture) badge requests programs.
- Performs general clerical tasks for assigned area including receiving telephone calls, typing, filing, faxing, etc.
- When designated, served as Deputy in Facility Security Officer's absence.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- Four years of hands-on general office experience required.
- Must be able and willing to maintain strict confidentiality and professional demeanor at all times.
- Must have strong people skills and professional communication skills.
- Must have strong multi-tasking and organizational.
- Must be detail-conscious and committed to accuracy.
- Must be proficient in operating a calculator, personal computers, computer software and standard office equipment.
- Be able to type 40-50 wpm.
Education:
- High School or equivalent
