Job Description:
The Space Operations and Integration Planner will facilitate exercise lifecycle planning through direct management of the Space Operation and Integration portion of the exercise execution matrix. During execution, fulfill training requirements of rotational training units by receiving, organizing, and presenting Space operational planning, scenario injects, and spectrum integration to the approval authority. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and draft Space exercise products.
- Attend writing workshops and planning meetings.
- Facilitate rotational training unit training objectives.
- Assist Space and Operations planning leads by providing current operations and future operations information relevant to tasks.
- Perform functions on Space-related communication and spectrum analysis systems.
- Other duties as directed
- Some travel required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of experience as a Space Operations Officer with familiarity at the Brigade/Group level.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Joint Exercise planning
- Experience in National Guard coordination and/or Northern Strike Exercises
- Extensive experience with Space communication and spectrum analysis systems
- Experience in commercial space application/coordination
Required Education/Certification
- Active Secret or higher-level clearance
- Accredited University BA/BS degree
* Position contingent on contract Award
* Telework may be permitted for up to 3 days per week with prior coordination.
