Are you a talented and innovative artificial intelligence developer that wants to make a difference in the world? Join us as an AI Developer (Agent-Based Systems) and lead the charge in developing, implementing, and supporting cutting-edge geospatial technologies. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with our dynamic Geospatial & Digital Solutions (GDS) Market Sector team to support diverse IR&D and customer-focused projects within a multi-disciplinary organization to achieve specific goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will focus on leveraging AI solutions and digital tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and the overall digital experience for both internal teams and external customers.
Reporting directly to our Director of our Digital HUB Team, you will be specializing in building and deploying intelligent agent-based systems for customer-facing applications. The ideal candidate will design and implement multi-agent architecture, optimize model performance with GPU acceleration, and manage the infrastructure supporting AI services.

WhatYou’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and deploy intelligent agents for data analysis and decision-making.
- Implement and manage multi-agent systems to solve complex problems.
- Optimize AI models for performance and scalability.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code supporting the full AI development lifecycle, from data processing to deployment.
- Build production-ready ML systems that integrate LLMs into applications.
- Handle model deployment and scaling infrastructure.
- Create evaluation frameworks for model performance.
- Leverage GPU architecture expertise to optimize computational resource usage and enhance model performance.
- Configure, manage, and deploy local AI models while ensuring adherence to performance, compliance, and security standards.
- Collaborate with GIS teams to integrate AI solutions into geospatial workflows.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and support activities related to AI services.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience as an AI/ML Developer with a focus on intelligent agents and multi-agent system design.
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Hands-on experience developing multi-agent systems (i.e., orchestration, fine tuning, microservices) for customer-facing products.
- In-depth knowledge of GPU architectures (e.g., CUDA) and practical performance optimization techniques.
- Experience supporting customer-facing products with focus on uptime, throughput, and low latency.
- Familiarity with geospatial data formats, tools, and solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Successful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
- Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
- Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate’s start date.
