JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
- Provides technical support for assigned systems or platforms to include the modification, maintenance and repair for the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Systems Sustainment Branch.
- Provides technical support for the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Systems Sustainment Branch to include performing tasks such as assembling, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment.
- Conduct routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing; in-line repair and testing; operation of test equipment; coordinate test schedules; prepare inputs for test plans; review test plans and procedures; conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment or component testing; adjust units under test; analyze test results; and determine valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- AA Degree in related discipline and two (2) years or more of related experience; Or, High School and four (4) years of related experience.
- Interim secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
- An understanding of electronics principles, mechanical systems
- Ability to read engineering diagrams and drawings.
- The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.
- Must be U.S. citizen.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Preferably 7711/7721 Solder Certified or J-STD-001 Solder Certified
- Experience using hand tools.
