The Network Engineer will support secure & non-secure military communications and cybersecurity operations across the Pacific, requiring deep expertise in VDI networks, DOD compliance, & risk management.

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer include:
- Manage & secure VDI Thin Client networks across classified & unclassified environments, ensuring smooth integration with VOIP, VMware & collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams
- Lead cybersecurity efforts within the USARPAC Area of Responsibility, including risk management, compliance with DOD & Army standards, & oversight of 11 separate networks
- Apply & document STIGs to maintain strict security compliance across Windows systems & virtual environments
- Provide technical support & troubleshooting for end users & senior leadership, ensuring high availability & performance of networked systems
- Coordinate & advise on cybersecurity strategy, serving as a direct consultant to the USARPAC G61 Cybersecurity Manager & supporting Army-to-Army engagements in the Pacific
- Maintain system documentation & SOPs, including reporting on system status, incidents, & ongoing issues to ensure operational transparency & readiness
Qualifications of the Network Engineer include:
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity in DOD/Army environments, including RMF & program-level management
- 4-6+ years of Tier 3 system/network administration, especially supporting VDI networks in secure settings
- IAM Level III certification (CISSP, CISM, GSLC)
- Strong technical skills in VMware, Active Directory, STIG compliance, SCCM, & SAN management
- Excellent communication & leadership abilities, with proven success in supporting senior military leaders & working in Joint Operations Centers
- Active DOD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Compensation for the Network Engineer includes:
- Salary Range: $140,000-$155,000 **depending on experience**
