Responsibilities

Noblis MSD is seeking an experienced Computer Engineer with an active Secret Clearance in Lakehurst, NJ.

Computer Engineers are responsible for design, development, and testing of hardware/software system components employing knowledge of engineering principles. Typical responsibilities include analyzing stakeholder needs, defining system requirements, architecting system solutions, and managing technical trade-offs to optimize system performance, cost, and schedule. They will utilize their expertise to support engineering projects and operations. Typical responsibilities include providing technical support to engineering teams during the design and development of systems, conducting analyses and evaluations to assess system requirements and performance, and assisting in the development of system architectures, designs, and specifications. They will also coordinate with stakeholders validate system requirements, conducting tests and evaluations to verify and validate system functionality and performance, and assisting in the resolution of technical issues and challenges. Additionally, they may be involved in documenting system requirements, designs, and processes, and providing training and guidance to team members

This requisition covers multiple positions, including:
  • Computer Engineer, Junior to Mid Level
  • Computer Engineer, Senior


The Computer Engineer is responsible for:
  • Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining system software and hardware components tailored to mission and business needs
  • Analyzing user requirements to build efficient and scalable software
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meeting industry standards.
  • Utilizing Systems Engineering Technical Review Process throughout the scope of the project
  • Creating and maintaining clear documentation, and provide technical support and training to end-users
  • Researching and evaluating new technologies
  • Developing and executing test plans
  • Optimizing system performance and maintaining system security


Required Qualifications

  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Must be a US Citzen

Junior to Mid-Level :
  • Education: Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Requires minimum of three (3) years of computer engineering network experience.
  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $120,275

Senior-Level:
  • Education: Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Requires a minimum ten (10) years of computer programming/analyst experience
  • Requires a minimum of five (5) years of programming software experience (e.g. C++, Java) of the most current generation.
  • Salary Range: $93,200 - $145,550

Desired Qualifications

  • Any previous experience working in the DoD industry is preferred.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.
