Responsibilities

The Logistics Analyst makes a direct impact on national defense by building and supporting software solutions used in critical Navy aviation programs. This role supports critical program and project decision-making within the NAWCAD Engineering & Logistics organization under NAVAIR's Mission Operations & Integration (MO&I) group. Work closely with analysts, engineers, and program staff to improve system performance, usability, and integration.

This requisition covers multiple positions, including:
  • Junior Logistics Analyst
  • Mid Level Logistics Analyst
  • Senior Logistics Analyst


The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Providing Life Cycle Logistics and ILS support for all NAVAIR MO&I Systems and Equipment installed across the US Navy.
  • Collecting and analyze data for the purpose of providing metrics for ILS Feedback Reports.
  • Managing ILS trackers.
  • Updating and developing ILS Certifications
  • Researching configuration records in CDMD-OA and MBPS.
  • Researching navy part numbers, NSNs, and APLs.
  • Assisting in the integration of the supporting ILS Documentation for all NAVAIR MO&I Systems and Equipment.
  • Communicating with NAVAIR Lakehurst Clients on a regular basis to provide logistics feedback.
  • Provide monthly ILS status and metrics reports, assist in the facilitation of meetings and program reviews.
  • Work in various DoD logistics databases.

Required Qualifications

Logistics Analyst, Junior
  • Provides logistics program support. Participates in meetings and supports logistics teams. Tracks logistics program/project status and tasks, prepares presentations, reports, studies, and logistics documentation.
  • Performs tasks under supervision.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • DoD Secret clearance
  • US Citizenship
  • Salary Range: $52,600 - $82,000


Logistics Analyst, Journeyman
  • Applies logistics and technical services to support strategic decision making for DoD aircraft SE/ALRE logistics programs/projects. Resolves complex problems. Performs logistics, technical, or business case analyses. Participates as a member of and/or supports the DoD aircraft SE/ALRE logistics program or project team. Applies government-instituted processes for cradle-to-grave product support and logistics data management. Leads the activities of Junior Logisticians as necessary on activities related to the application of logistics techniques, policies, or processes.
  • Performs tasks with some guidance.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in ILS; with two (2) years of experience reviewing and/or developing specifications, technical manuals, ordinance publications, drawings, and other engineering data and revisions.
  • DoD Secret clearance
  • US Citizenship
  • Salary Range: $63,000 - $99,450


Logistics Analyst, Senior
  • Acts as the overall logistics lead for the contracted effort in support of aviation SE/ALRE logistics programs or projects. Leads the application of logistics and technical services to support strategic decision making for DoD aircraft SE logistics programs/projects. Resolves complex problems. Performs logistics, technical, or business case analyses. Participates as a member of and/or supports the DoD aircraft SE/ALRE logistics program or project team. Applies government-instituted processes for cradle-to-grave product support and logistics data management. Lead the activities of Journeyman and Junior Logisticians as necessary on activities related to the application of logistics techniques, policies, or processes.
  • Performs tasks with little or no guidance
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
    Experience: Requires a minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in ILS, with five (5) years of experience reviewing and/or developing specifications, technical manuals, ordinance publications, drawings, and other engineering data and revisions.
  • DoD Secret clearance
  • US Citizenship
  • Salary Range: $77,000 - $120,275

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in Navy Data Environment (NDE), Deckplate, Logiquest, Haystack, PMSMIS, TDMIS required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, experienced working with DoD clients.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.
