Salesforce Business Analyst (Interim security clearance or higher e.g., Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI)
Location: Remote
The HigherEchelon Salesforce Practice is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Salesforce Business Analyst to support our growing Salesforce practice. The Salesforce Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements, translating user needs into actionable stories, and ensuring that Salesforce solutions align with business and mission objectives. This role requires strong communication skills, deep knowledge of Army Accession and Recruitment processes, and the ability to bridge technical and functional teams within a DoD environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Partner with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements
• Decompose user needs to technical user stories
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure requirements are well-understood and delivered successfully
• Update test scripts to reflect evolving business needs and system enhancements
• Update related epics, features, user stories, and tasks to maintain alignment with project scope
• Support user acceptance testing and ensure traceability of requirements through delivery
• Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, providing insight and recommendations for continuous improvement
Required Skills:
• Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and ability to map requirements to platform functionality
• Familiarity with DoD standards, regulations, and compliance frameworks
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage competing priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Required Education and Experience:
• BA/BS degree with 5+ years of general work experience
• Candidate must also demonstrate experience supporting Salesforce platform(s) within Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
• Must possess (Interim security clearance or higher e.g., Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI)
• Prior experience supporting Salesforce implementations in a federal or defense environment preferred
• Salesforce certifications highly preferred (Administrator, Business Analyst)
