TRAINING SPECIALIST

Duties
Help

• Knowledge of training content creation, delivery, evaluation, and sustainment related to DoD Medical Logistics proprietary accountable system of record to include DMLSS and LogiCole.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate all activities involved in the instructional design process for DHA Medical Logistics training programs.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop, deliver, evaluate, and sustain DHA Medical Logistics training and training programs.
• Advise management on training and development matters such as procedures for assessment of training needs, training methods, and facilities available.
• Analyze and formulate training needs assessments and recommendations based on research of Medical Logistics policy, reports, statistical data, and surveys.
• Apply DoD Medical Supply Chain principals and policy to analyze needs, provide feedback, and corrective action plans towards DHA Medical Logistics training program effectiveness.

• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) Developing training programs for medical logistics programs; 2.) Updating training methods based on technological advancements; and 3.) Evaluating the effectiveness of medical logistics training programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
