Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Operational Scheduler located in Aviano AB, Italy to support the daily operational readiness of an Air Control Squadron by managing scheduling systems, ensuring adherence to USAF and local scheduling standards, and maintaining synchronization across training, evaluations, and mission taskings. The role directly supports the Unit Scheduler (AFMAN 13-1 Vol 1/Vol 2/Vol 3) and DO/DOT/CCV, ensuring air battle managers (ABMs), weapons directors (WDs), and mission system operators (MSOs) maintain readiness through scheduled training, evaluations, and crew mission certifications.

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00

What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for operations, training, and evaluations
- Coordinate crew availability, instructor/evaluator scheduling, and simulator/resource usage
- Ensure compliance with AFMAN 13-1 Vol 1/2/3, AFMAN 13-1 CRC V2 crew rest and scheduling rules
- Utilize scheduling systems such as PEX, GTIMS, TIMS, Microsoft Outlook, and SharePoint
- Communicate updates to leadership, distribute schedules, and support changes in real time
- Maintain scheduling records for readiness reviews and inspections
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of related experience or 10+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years in a DoD flying unit-includes time supporting Control and Reporting Centers (CRCs) or ACS operations
- 1+ year managing crew scheduling for rated/non-rated operators per AFMAN 13-1 Vol 1 training continuity requirements
- Use of Patriot Excalibur (PEX), TIMS/GTIMS, or similar platforms for crew availability, sortie generation, or crew rest management.
- Demonstrated use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Access for tracking availability, scheduling MQT, CT, and Stan/Eval events
- Familiar with SharePoint as a digital coordination hub for crew schedules, calendar integration, and standardized evaluation tracking
- Working knowledge of AFMAN 13-1 Vol 1, outlining day-to-day scheduling requirements and the responsibilities of the Unit Scheduler
- Familiar with AETC Instruction 36-2605 Vol 1 for student pipeline and academic coordination when applicable to training squadrons
- Secret clearance required

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Prior military experience in C2 (13B/1C5X1), aviation operations, or simulation support
- Familiarity with ACS/CRC/AOC or AWACS operations
