We are looking for you to join our team as a PDK Electrical Engineering Manager 2
Job responsibilities include Leading the PDK direction across multiple technologies; interfacing with other foundry roles as a subject matter expert; mentoring PDK/CAD engineers; maintaining documentation and schedules. It is anticipated that, given the size of the functional team, the split between technical and functional duties will be approximately 80/20, on average.
This position requires fulltime on-site work at our Advanced Technology Laboratory (ATL) in Linthicum, MD location or our Annapolis Junction, MD location.

Primary Level Salary Range: $149,400.00 - $234,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

As a member of our team you will:
- Support a team of 10-15 technical staff in management role. Administrative management responsibilities include staffing, performance and compensation management, and career development.
- Lead a team of integrated circuit process development kit developers
- Review work of other PDK engineers
- Document and implement best practices
- Inform stakeholders and program managers for status updates, issue resolution, and overall engineering execution.
- Partner with program management office to ensure successful execution against cost and schedule targets.
- Provide technical leadership to the team and ensuring proper engineering processes and procedures are followed.
- Work with peers and training leads to identify critical skill shortfalls; develop appropriate technical training; and improve team performance.
Basic Qualifications for PDK Electrical Engineering Manager 2:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of experience (or Master of Science degree with 6 years) within a related engineering field.
- Experience with writing design verification rules
- Demonstrated experience with Cadence Virtuoso environment AND DRC/LVS/PEX within Cadence DIVA, Assura or Mentor Graphics Calibre
- Experience generating scripts (SKILL, Python, PERL, Ocean, Linux Shell, etc.) to provide capabilities within a CAD environment
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software tools, i.e. Atlassian tools stack - Jira, Confluence
- Must be willing to work on site 100% of time
- Limited travel to local Northrop Grumman facilities may be required
- This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary US government security clearance per business requirements
Preferred Qualifications for PDK Electrical Engineering Manager 2:
- Master of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 6+ years within a related engineering field.
- Experience managing teams of 10 or more.
- Experience with EVMS
- Semiconductor device modeling experience
- Knowledge of semiconductor process development, design, manufacturing and testing
- Experience taking lab measurements on process control monitor (PCM) test structures or interpreting results from automated testing of those structures
- Experience utilizing the Spectre simulator to verify models match measurements
- Must be willing to work on site 100% of time
- Limited travel to local Northrop Grumman facilities may be required
- This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
