Job Description

As a Security Officer Financial Patrols in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will help maintain a safe and professional environment for employees, clients, and visitors by conducting patrols, assisting with access control and badge procedures, remaining highly visible to deter incidents, responding promptly to situations, and providing excellent customer service while communicating effectively with both the public and your team. This position requires prior military, corrections, or law enforcement experience.

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
