Job Summary
  • Seeking a highly skilled User Experience Designer to lead the planning, design, and development of user experiences for devices, tools, and systems
  • The UX Designer will play a key role in shaping interactive conventions, gathering user requirements, and ensuring solutions are intuitive, accessible, and effective

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead UX planning, design, and development activities across projects
  • Establish interactive conventions and best practices for usability and design consistency
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and development teams to gather and translate user requirements
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and mock-ups to demonstrate user flows and concepts.
  • Analyze tool sets and participate in trade-off discussions between design, functionality, and technical feasibility
  • Apply visualization and screen design expertise to develop clean, user-centered interfaces
  • Explore and recommend innovative interaction techniques and technologies to enhance user experience
  • Support usability testing and iterative design improvements

Required Qualifications
  • Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
  • Ten years' experience in User Experience Design
  • Five years' experience within the last 10 years' experience leading UX design
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/User Experience Design or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
  • Four (4) years of additional User Experience Design experience on projects with similar design may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Information Technology: Three (3) years' experience with screen mock-up tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, Axure) and related industry tools used to create visual displays and prototypes
  • Proven experience in UX design for web, mobile, or enterprise systems
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision)
  • Strong understanding of usability principles, accessibility standards, and user research methods
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive and engaging user interfaces
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments
  • Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to support collaboration with engineers

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The pay range for this role is:

155,000 - 210,000 USD per year ( AJ6 )
