Field Service Representative (UX Engineering) - Fort Meade, MD
Full Visibility is seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR) to work in Fort Meade, MD. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
The Field Service Representative will join our mission-focused team supporting forward-deployed cyber operators and warfighters. The candidate will ensure the reliable operation, troubleshooting, and sustainment of mission applications and cyber tools in tactical and operational environments. The ideal candidate will work directly with end users to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot complex software systems and containerized applications often under time-sensitive or high-stakes conditions using Kubernetes, Helm, and other orchestration tools. The successful candidate will serve as the first line of technical support for operators in the field, quickly resolving issues and escalating critical items as needed, and observe, document, and analyze how end users interact with mission systems to identify usability pain points, inefficiencies, or training gaps. The Field Service Representative will collect and translate user feedback into actionable UX insights for design and development teams, and conduct informal usability testing, field interviews, and hands-on walkthroughs to validate workflows and proposed changes. The candidate will collaborate closely with DevSecOps and product teams to refine user interfaces, improve mission flow alignment, and prioritize field-informed enhancements, ensure software deployments and updates meet operational requirements without disrupting ongoing missions, and maintain system documentation, knowledge bases, and user support materials tailored to real-world operator needs.

Requirements
•Active Top Secret Clearance/with SCI
•At least three (3+) years of experience in field support, software deployment, or systems integration for mission-critical or cyber-focused applications
•Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Linux systems, and containerized application deployments
•Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in resource-constrained or disconnected environments
•Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design principles and UX best practices
•Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
Preferred:
•Experience supporting cyber operators, special mission units, or high-tempo operational environments
•Exposure to design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) or human-centered design methodologies (e.g., HCD, Agile UX)
•Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and infrastructure-as-code practices
•Previous field UX research or design validation experience
•Kubernetes Certification (CKA, CKAD) or UX Certification (NN/g, HFI)
