DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Centurum Information Technology is seeking a highly motivated Logistician II to join our Meteorological and Oceanographic (METOC) In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) team in San Diego, CA.
The following are the primary logistics support duties and responsibilities for the METOC systems logistics products, which include provisioning technical documentation, technical manuals, logistics manuals, preventive maintenance documents, spares and required test equipment lists, Configuration Data Manager Database - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) loads, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Certifications:
- Provide input for the initial development and updates to METOC system documentation, such as the Life Cycle Support Plan (LCSP) and User's Logistics Support Summary (ULSS).
- Engage with METOC systems Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other technical entities to gather information needed for Logistics product development.
- Develop and manage technical, operational, and logistics data and institute and mark as appropriate Item Unique Identification (IUID) IAW current directives.
- Perform equipment inventory and keep a detailed record of all received and shipped equipment. Perform material support shipment actions, respond to material shipment request emails, create shipping documents to facilitate world-wide outgoing and return shipments, and prepare any required receiving paperwork or documentation.
- Perform the activities related to classified and unclassified material movement IAW current regulations and directives.
- Perform Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) and provide technical recommendations for system material Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM). These analyses will include Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis, Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FEMECA), and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
- Provide support for Operating Material and Supplies (OM&S) Inventory Management, Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) bookings, and floor inventory inspections.
- Create and provide Logistics tracking system database inventory and As-Installed Configuration Management (CM) reports and updates upon request.
- Provide real time status for Program of Record (POR) spares allocation, location, and material condition.
- Research the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) One Touch Support (OTS) database and METOC ILS products (i.e., Technical Publications, Approved Parts Lists (APLs), and other databases) to obtain associated parts data, which includes weight, dimensions, reference designators, National Stock Numbers (NSNs), and Source Maintenance and Recoverability (SM&R) Codes, to better identify POR spares.
- Respond to email notifications for failed parts and create and route offline Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) forms.
- Estimate the initial quantity of spares that will be sufficient to ensure the system availability requirements are met and the unit consumption data for spares can be determined accurately by the Supply System.
- Coordinate Installation and Check-Out Spares (INCOS) support, which includes Logistics tracking system updates and the failed assets returned to NIWC Pacific for No Evidence of Failure (NEOF) testing.
- Coordinate depot-level overhaul, modification, and Logistics tracking system updates for METOC systems.
- Coordinate METOC systems inventory and create and submit offline ITSM tickets to track failed METOC system repair efforts.

REQUIRED SKILLS/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Must have a minimum of three years performing Logistics acquisition and sustainment support functions. The following skills, capabilities, and experience are Required (R) and/or Desired (D):
- Experience in Logistics management, principles, practices, and processes. (R)
- Experience in Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T), acquiring, cataloging, receiving, storing, issuing, transferring, and disposing of various end items necessary to support the life cycle of METOC system support. (R)
- Demonstrated management skills, such as developing Logistics Management Plans, Guidelines, and Procedures. (R)
- Experience writing and tracking Ship Change Documents (SCDs) in the NAVWAR/PEO C4I Integrated Data Environment & Repository (SPIDER). (D)
- Experience with the SCD modernization process and gathering the information needed for SCD development. (D)
- Experience and ability to create, populate, edit, and track current and future shipboard system SCDs. (D)
This position requires the capability to maintain a Secret clearance.

This position is required to have and maintain a Secret US DoD security clearance.

PREFERRED SKILLS
Bachelor’s Degree
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Level 1 or 2, have equivalent logistics training, or possess an additional one year working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.

REMARKS
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of technical and management personnel.

Compensation: $38 - $45 an hour.
Compensation for positions at Centurum vary depending on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, location, responsibilities, skill set, and level of experience.
