Mayvin is seeking a highly skilled Breaching Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support USSOCOM at Fort Bragg, NC. The Breaching SME will provide expert guidance and technical leadership in the areas of Special Purpose Demolitions, Explosives, and Special Weapons, ensuring the highest levels of mission readiness and operational effectiveness. The Breaching SME will provide continuous support to maintain specially developed analysis tools, to conduct technical continuity and to assist transfer of capabilities, technologies, techniques, and best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the SME for tactical (offensive and defensive), strategic, and engineering aspects of breaching operations.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of mechanical, explosive/demolition material and formulations, and electronic initiation systems.
  • Provide expertise in ballistics, personnel and vehicle armor systems, international construction standards/practices, concrete formulas, and their applications.
  • Advise on the design and implementation of high-security protective measures and construction for National Defense infrastructure.
  • Well versed and trained in Acquisition/Program Management Functional/Knowledge areas including Engineering and Technical Management, Contracting, Life Cycle Logistics, Program Management, Test and Evaluation, architectures, system design, intelligence systems, and security.
  • Apply technical, operational, and analytical disciplines such as reliability, maintainability, and life cycle cost management.
  • Provide daily direction and oversight to technical personnel, ensuring compliance with design specifications and program requirements.
  • Coordinate Test and Evaluation activities with supporting organizations and serve as the Program Office focal point for assigned projects and systems.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in breaching, demolitions, and explosives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in tactical, strategic, and engineering breaching methods.
  • Highly desired 10 years program management/acquisition experience supporting defense programs.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and coordinate complex projects.
  • Proficiency with procurement tools (e.g., PRISM, PIEE/WAWF, SPS) and Microsoft Office Suite
