All-Source and Threat Analyst with China Specialty
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced All-Source and Threat Analyst with China Specialty to join our team in support of a cyber intelligence program. As an All-Source and Threat Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing and disseminating critical intelligence to support national security efforts. You will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on various sources of information, identifying and assessing threats, and providing strategic recommendations to inform policymakers. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-priority projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the protection of national security.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on various sources of information to identify and assess threats to national security.
- Develop and disseminate strategic intelligence products, including written reports and oral briefings.
- Build and maintain subject matter expertise in China-related issues
- Collaborate with other Intelligence Analysts and stakeholders to drive intelligence-led decision making.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel, including Special Agents, Staff Operations Specialists, and Supervisory Special Agents.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any major from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 2 years of intelligence analysis experience within the USIC, or 3 years of intelligence analysis experience supporting offices focused on cyber threats in lieu of degree.
- One or more of the following certifications: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI), CyberSec First Responder (CFR), Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), Cloud+, PenTest+, Security+, Network+, GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), Cisco Cybersecurity Specialty (SCYBER).
Clearance:
- Minimum TS/SCI active security clearance, with the ability to pass a CI Polygraph
Preferred Skills:
- Prior professional services or federal consulting experience.
- Basic understanding of computer networking, TCP/IP, and Networking Appliances.
- Understanding or willingness to learn Cyber Criminal Infrastructure.
- Passion for strategic analysis and production and report writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to edit formulas.
- Ability to provide a generic cybercrime briefing using a premade PowerPoint presentation.
- Ability to brief strategic products to executive management.
- Ability to work independently with little to no guidance.
Training Requirements - Must complete the following within 3 months of onboarding:
- FBI HUMINT Awareness and Tradecraft Courses
- FBI GEOINT Courses: Introduction to Geospatial Intelligence (GEOIN-1101 & GEOIN-1102)
- FBI Technical Collection and Exploitation (INTEL 1315)
- FBI Open Source Action Group (OSAG) On-Demand Training
- FBI Privacy and Civil Liberties Legal Training
