Description:You will be the Data Scientist Analyst Senior for the PAC-3 program, supporting the Quality Engineering organization. Our team is responsible for driving quality improvements and data-driven decision-making by leveraging advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Data Scientist Analyst Senior, you will be responsible for unlocking insights and driving strategic decisions across the PAC-3 program. You will apply cutting-edge statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools to uncover key trends and relationships within data from various product life cycles.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Data curation and quality: ensuring data accuracy, relevance, and consistency through data profiling, cleansing, validation, and process development
-ETL process development and optimization: designing and implementing efficient data pipelines to support data analytics and machine learning workflows
-Data storytelling: using data visualization and communication techniques to translate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and leadership
-Machine learning model development: designing, training, and deploying models to solve complex business problems and drive data-driven decision-making

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

• Experience in data analysis, including data wrangling, curation, engineering, and processing.

• Experience in one or more common programming languages, such as Python, and experience with SQL, including complex query writing and optimization.

• Knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals, including machine learning algorithms and techniques.

• Experience with AI application development, including the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions.

• Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau.

• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.

• Proficiency with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.

• Experience in deployment of AI and statistical algorithm systems on high performance compute infrastructure.

• Familiarity with products from SAP, including ERP, and data analytics tools.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
